"Hello, I’m Emerance and welcome to my little textile studio. My shop is a
Canadian Indigenous owned-Cayuga First Nations- independent textile printing and sewing shop. I’m the designer and sewist for all Stoney Lake Textiles Merchandise. Following a slow design philosophy means making each one-of-a-kind item by hand and taking the time to find eco friendly materials and supplies from other small and local businesses. My studio is located in a restored little log cabin that sits on an outcropping of exposed limestone rock in Canada’s Cottage Country. My shop is primarily online but my allergen reduced (no scents, smoke or pets allowed in the studio) studio is located in the Kawarthas, Ontario. All of my homewares are inspired by the beauty and quiet that surrounds us, the stone, the water and the trees.
